The 46100 format—46mm in diameter and 100mm in height—will begin entering its product lineup next quarter. LFP chemistry eliminates the need for expensive materials like cobalt and nickel, allowing the company to pass cost savings directly to consumers. The technology will also power its Shakti home energy storage systems.
Gigafactory currently operates at 2.5 GWh capacity and is scaling toward 6 GWh by March 2026.
